Dinosaurs in the daylight

Talk and Tour | Oxford University Natural History Museum

The group will be treated to a brief illustrated talk on the recent challenging restoration of the Museum’s glass roof by conservation and design experts Purcell. Natural History Specialist and media personality Chris Jarvis tells the history of this Grade I Listed neo-gothic building and the stories behind its collections and specimens. The visit includes The Huxley Room, where Darwin’s revolutionary ‘On the Origin of Species’ was first debated.

This event has been organised by the Oxfordshire Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
