Join a fascinating one hour tour of Woodhorn with a guide to include Coal Town, Follow the Banner, The Ashington Group and a look behind the scenes in one of the Archive strong rooms.

The gallery housing the Ashington Group, the Pitman Painters, has been repainted and includes an introductory film with footage of the painters themselves talking about their experiences and art.

The group will start with coffee and biscuits and after the tour there is a restaurant for those wishing to stay for lunch and/or a look at other exhibits such as the Winding House.

This event has been organised by the Northumberland Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
