This tour begins with a general introduction on the history and role of the Government Art Collection, as well as a chance to see a selection of works owned by the organisation. This will be followed by a tour of the collection's operational side, including the workshop and the racking area where works of art are made prepared for re-selection by ministers of state and as well as internationally, where they help to promote the image of Britain, reflecting its culture and creativity in the visual arts.

Please note: The premises are unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users.

This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
