Figurative Art in the 21st Century

Talk | Tyneside Cinema

Friday 21 November 2014 - 14:30

Join us for a fascinating and in-depth look at the stained glass Transfiguration Window of Durham Cathedral, the set of tapestries known as the Vanity of Small Differences and the illustrated book about Mog the cat. All three works highlight the fact that figurative art is alive and well in the twenty first century as well as exemplifying the variety of forms of expression still open to the creative mind.

This event has been organised by the Northumberland Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
