Visit and Talk | St Nicholas's Church and National Glass Centre

Tuesday 23 September 2014 - 10:30

We start our day at St Nicholas's Church to view the biggest collection in the country of Leonard Charles Everett who became the most prolific stained glass artist of the 20th century. Later we will move on to the National Glass Centre by the river in Sunderland for a guided tour of the galleries and walk behind the scenes (non public areas), an introduction to the National Glass Centre Shop and the artists' work, a live glass blowing demonstration and a live glass flame working demonstration.

This event has been organised by the Northumberland Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
