Visit | Kenwood House
Thursday 10 July 2014 - 14:00 until 15:30
A guided tour of Kenwood House, which reopened late last year after extensive refurbishment. As well as the library, three other rooms designed by Robert Adam and four in the 18th century style have been painstakingly restored to their original glory. Items of furniture also designed by Adam and integral to the overall interiors have been tracked down and returned to their original places. The house’s collection includes work by Rembrandt van Rijn, Johannes Vermeer, J. M. W. Turner and Thomas Gainsborough.
This event has been organised by the London Events Volunteer Fundraising Committee to help raise money for the Art Fund.
