Mostyn Hall

Guided Tour | Mostyn Hall

Thursday 5 June 2014 - 10:30

Mostyn Hall has been the seat of the baronets of Mostyn since 1660, and was remodelled in the mid-nineteenth century in the Jacobean style. It houses a stunning collection of family portraits, paintings and costumes, and is home to the silver harp presented at the Natinoal Eisteddfor Caerwys in 1523. Following Mostyn Hall we visit Whitford Church of St. Bueno and St. Mary, burial place of the renowned eighteenth century travel writer Thomas Pennant.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
