Screen Printing at Warwick University Print Collection
Study Day | Mead Gallery
Wednesday 14 May 2014 - 10:00 until 12:45
A workshop offering a hands-on demonstration in the Mead Gallery at the University of Warwick, focusing on screen printing and the studios Editions Alecto and Kelpra - influential in taking screen printing from purely commercial process to one used by artists. The University has a number of works bought from these studios in the 1960s. We will hear about the different studios, their history, an exploration of the techniques and works, and then the chance to see the works in situ on campus.
Group size will be no more than 15, so apply early to be sure of a place.
