Amsterdam: Het Loo and Delft
Overnight Trip | Hampshire to Amsterdam
12 – 15 May 2014
A four day trip to Holland, commencing with an evening cruise around the canals of Amsterdam, with dinner on board. On the second day we will spend the morning with our guides in the newly refurbished Rijksmuseum, focusing on the paintings of the Golden Age. The afternoon will be free to explore the city and visit museums of your choice.
On the Wednesday morning, we will be taken by private coach to the eighteenth-century Palace of Het Loo, resplendent with Dutch Baroque Garden, before being taken in the afternoon to the world-renowned collection of nineteenth and twentieth century art housed in the Kröller-Müller Museum.
On our final day, our coach will drive us to Delft, where in the morning we will have a guided walk and visit the Nieuwe Kerke and the Royal Delft factory. After lunch we will drive to Haarlem through the bulbfields and visit the Frans Hals Museum.
