John Piper: An English vision

Frances Spalding of Newcastle University, a leading art historian and authority on 20th century British art, will talk about John Piper and how he worked creatively in a range of media, being particularly known for his landscapes, tapestry designs, opera sets and work in stained glass. The lecture will be followed by lunch.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
