Catherine Macleod is a curator of 17th Century portraits at the National Portrait Gallery, London. Between 1995 and 2002 she oversaw the installation of the new Tudor Gallery, the refurbishment of the 17th Century galleries and the displays at Montacute House in Somerset. In 2002 she curated Painted Ladies: Women at the Court of Charles II and in 2012 The Lost Prince: The Life and Death of Henry Stuart.I She is currently writing a catalogue raisonne of Peter Lely.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
