Romans, Christians and Moors: Andalucia and its golden age

Lecture | Menuhin Hall

Tuesday 21 January 2014 - 10:00 until 12:00

Tom Duncan will talk about the Celts, Romans, Christians, Visigoths and Arabs and how they left their mark on the landscapes of Iberia, where their great cities are endowed with a fusion of cultures and architectural styles. He will peel away the many layers that make up this complex history, from early times to the fall of Grenada and the end of Moorish rule in 1492, with particular emphasis on Andalucia.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
