An evening with Britten

Lecture | Chesterton

Thursday 14 November 2013 - 18:00 until 20:00

Close to the centenary of Benjamin Britten's birth (22 November 1913) Christopher Moore, church musician, organist, teacher, conductor, Fellow of the Royal Society of Organists and a Senior Member of St. Edmund's College in Cambridge will present a musically illustrated exploration of how the culture and landscape of East Anglia inspired the composer. Potter, Diana Kazemi has kindly agreed to open her home, a converted 17th century dovecote in Chesterton, for this event. Some of her work will be on display.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to raise money for the Art Fund.
