Honore Daumier

Lecture | The Menuhin Hall

Thursday 24 October 2013 - 10:30 until 12:00

Ann Clements will give a fascinating talk about Honore Daumier, 1808-1879 who was inspired by republican ideals and compassion for the poor. He was a brilliant caricaturist, a self-taught painter and sculptor of great originality and wit. This lecture will complement the forthcoming exhibition at the Royal Academy.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
