Beau Street Hoard

Talk | Pump Rooms

Wednesday 9 October 2013 - 18:30 until 20:30

The Beau Street Hoard of Roman silver coins was discovered in Bath in 2007. It is the largest hoard ever found in the city. Stephen Clews, Manager of the Roman Baths, will tell the story of the hoard from its discovery through the process of investigation to parallels and insights surviving from others parts of the Roman Empire and in Roman Art.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to raise money for the Art Fund.
