From Farmhouse to Fantasy: The Evolution of the Royal Pavilion

Lecture | The Old Parsonage

Wednesday 2 October 2013 - 14:00

Many people recognise the oriental fantasy that is the Royal Pavilion but fewer understand the changes that took place in the building to meet the needs of George as he grew from Prince of Wales to Regent and finally to King.

We are fortunate that Andrew Barlow, the expert on the Royal Pavilion will be giving us this presentation. Andrew was The Keeper of the Fine Art collection at Brighton Museum for ten years. He then became Keeper of the Royal Pavilion and Conservation.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
