Guided tour of Westenhanger Castle

Tour | Westenhanger Castle

Wednesday 18 September 2013 - 10:30

A wonderful guided tour around this 14th century castle and outbuildings by its owner, Mr Graham Forge. This lesser known property has been saved from dereliction by 16 years of dedicated restoration. Occupied from 1035, it later became a palace of Henry VIII, declining steadily from 1600 onwards. The tour includes the Grade 1 Manor House, dovecote, barns and replica ship.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
