Visit to Blenheim Palace

Coach Visit | Blenheim Palace

Tuesday 17 September 2013

Blenheim Palace was a gift from Queen Anne and a grateful nation to John Churchill, 1st Duke of Marlborough following his famous victory at the Battle of Blenheim in 1704. This is an all-day visit with a private tour of the gilded State Rooms and the Churchill Exhibition. There will be the chance to explore the 2000 acres of the 'Capability Brown' landscaped parkland, the great lake and the beautiful formal gardens.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
