Ledston Hall Study Day

Study Day | Ledston Hall

Tuesday 17 September 2013 - 12:00 until 17:00

This study day will focus on the great 17th and 18th century mansion of Ledston Hall, which stands in the remains of an important early landscape garden. Now on the 'At Risk Register' access has been granted to the house exterior, chapel and grounds, including the Elizabethan hunting lodge. (The interior is too dangerous for visitors.) The day will then continue with a visit to the fascinating church at Ledsham with its remarkable funerary monument to Lady Betty Hastings.

This event has been organised by a local supporter to help raise money for the Art Fund.
