Sketching in the Age of Turner and Constable

What better backdrop than Compton Verney for a lecture on the exhibition, Turner and Constable: Sketching from Nature which explores the evolving dynamic of oil-sketching from nature during the Regency period.

Dr Steven Parissien, Director of the gallery, will host the group and the lecture is given by Professor Michael Rosenthal, now retired from the University of Warwick who curated this exhibition.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to raise money for the Art Fund.
