Good Morrow Brother: Paintings of Rosemary Ziar
Talk | Merchant House Hotel
Monday 9 September 2013 - 14:30 until 16:30
Rosemary Ziar was a prolific Cornish artist who began her long career in the 1930s when she studied at Penzance School of Art. Her family had been involved with mining and farming in West Penwith and she drew much of her inspiration from this landscape. And after the Second World War, she travelled extensively in Europe, painting and exhibiting in France, Italy and Switzerland. Jane Ziar, Rosemary's daughter-in-law, will give a talk on her paintings.
This event has been organised by a local supporter group to raise money for the Art Fund.
