Sandford Orcas and Newton House

Visit | Sandford Orcas Manor House and Newton House

Tuesday 9 July 2013 - 08:45 until 17:30

The two manor houses of Sandford Orcas and Newton House were built of fine Hamstone and date from mid 16th-early 17th century. Sandford Orcas, owned and occupied by the Medlycott family for generations and Newton House, bought 5 years ago and lovingly restored by Jane and Robin Cannon, have retained many historic period features: plasterwork, pannelling and fireplaces.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to raise money for the Art Fund.
