Palace of Westminster special tour

Guided Tour | Palace of Westminster

Monday 8 July 2013 - 11:00

The historical Royal Palace of Westminster is an intricate labyrinth of buildings containing nearly 1200 rooms, 100 staircases and well over 2 miles of passages. This private guided tour will include Westminster Hall, both Lords' and Commons' voting chambers and various State Rooms. Following the tour there will be the opportunity of climbing Big Ben (strictly limited places), visit the Jewel Tower or Crypt.

In the afternoon, watch the procession of the Speaker of the Commons through the Central Lobby into the Commons Chamber and then listen to the day's debates. A traditional English Cream Tea will be served on the Terrace.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
