Visit | Emery Walker's House

Friday 5 July 2013 - 14:00 until 16:30

A guided tour of the last authentic Arts & Crafts interior in Britain – the decoration and furnishings of 7 Hammersmith Terrace are preserved as in the lifetime of the printer Emery Walker (1851-1933), a great friend and mentor to William Morris – together with, about 10 minutes’ walk along the river, a curator-led private view of the William Morris Society’s archive at Kelmscott House, giving a fascinating insight into Morris and rare access to original designs, wallpapers, textiles and Kelmscott Press material.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
