West Glamorgan Trip to St. Ives, Cornwall

Overnight Trip | St. Ives

19 – 22 June 2013 - 07:30 until 17:00

St. Ives is a beautiful coastal town in Southern Cornwall which has been home to a number of famous artists and as a consequence has numerous galleries and museums. This visit will include Tate St. Ives, the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden and the Leach Pottery. Additionally, there are two Cornish galleries to visit which have benefited greatly from Art Fund support: Penlee House Museum and Art Gallery and Penzance and Falmouth Art Gallery. The Penzance gallery will be showing A Forgotten Friendship: Christopher Wood and Cedric Morris.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
