The journey on board the Severn Valley Railway will take the group between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth following the course of the River Severn. The 16 mile route will pass by the beautiful Arley Arboretum and the Bewdley Safari Park.

Lunch will be taken at the Engine House Museum at Highley where it is possible to explore the Visitor Centre housing the SVRs reserve collection of steam locomotives. There will also be a lecture by Dr Matt Thompson, Senior Curator at the Ironbridge Gorge Museum Trust on 'Picturing the Landscape of the Great Western Railway 1897-1947'.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
