Guided Tour | Sandwich and the Salutation Garden

A guided walk (in small groups) around this ancient and fascinating town, recorded from Saxon times. Sandwich was raided by the Vikings, the French and the Dutch. During WW1 there was a secret Q port by the bands of the river Stour. Thomas Paine (Rights of Man) lived here as did Sydney Greenstreet (actor).

Admission to tour The Salutation Garden also included.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
