Watercolour technique

Study Day | Millais House

Thursday 30 May 2013 - 13:30 until 17:00

Watercolour in the UK is usually associated with English artists John Sell Cotman, J.M.W Turner and John Constable. However, many contemporary artists have used the medium to great success, including David Hockney. The workshop by Slade tutor Tom Davies will start with an introduction to technique and watercolour papers. The class will work from the model and an emphasis will be placed on light.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.

Thank you to support from COLART and Winsor & Newton.
