Winkburn Hall and Papplewick Hall

Guided Tour | Papplewick Hall

Wednesday 22 May 2013 - 10:30 until 17:00

By kind invitation of the Godwin-Austen family and Mr and Mrs Richard Craven-Smith-Milnes this is a fantastic opportunity to visit their fine Nottinghamshire homes.

Papplewick Hall is a beautiful classical Georgian house. The day will begin here with a tour of the house from Dr Richard Godwin-Austen and there will also be time to explore the woodland garden which was laid out in 18th century.

In the afternoon the tour continues to Winkburn Hall, a fine William and Mary mansion which has been restored by the Craven-Smith-Milnes, who will show the party around the house and talk about the restoration work.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
