Art Nouveau: Architecture and Design
Lecture | The Menuhin Hall
Wednesday 22 May 2013
In this lecture, we examine how architects and designers formulated the New Art, inspired by a reinterpretation of historical styles, by nature and by the clarity of Japanese Design. We then look at how designers and artists in Europe and America developed Art Nouveau in a variety of differing ways. Finally, we close with the exquisite glass designs of Tiffany.
This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
