Fox Gardens of Penjerrick and Glendurgan

Visit | Penjerrick and Glendurgan

Friday 26 April 2013 - 11:00 until 16:00

Two of the finest Cornish gardens created by the important 19th century Quaker Fox family of Falmouth are Penjerrick and Glendurgan. The visit will start at Penjerrick where the owner, Mrs Rachel Morin, will give a guided tour of the garden. Wellington boots essential!

The group will then reconvene in the afternoon at Glendurgan, a National Trust property though the house remains occupied by Mr Charles Fox and his family. Mr Fox will give a talk prior to a guided tour of the gardens.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
