Visit | Dennis Severs house and Whitechapel Gallery

Saturday 6 April 2013 - 10:30 until 16:00

There will be a private visit to the unique and atmospheric Dennis Severs house, where the late artist chose to live in the style of the early 18th century. After a light lunch served in a private room at the nearby Water Poet, there will be a 15 minute walk to the Whitechapel Gallery, where there will be a guided tour of the art gallery and building itself, including the Art Fund supported frieze, 'Tree of Life' by Rachel Whiteread.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
