Apothecaries' Hall

Visit | Apothecaries' Hall

Wednesday 27 February 2013 - 14:00 until 16:00

A guided tour by the beadle of the Apothecaries' Hall, the oldest extant livery company hall in the City of London, dating from the late 1660s. It was rebuilt after being destroyed in the Great Fire of London, and has been redeveloped and expanded over the centuries. It retains a late-18th-century appearance from the outside and houses a fascinating collection of manuscripts, paintings, artefacts and clothing, on display in the Great Hall and other rooms.

This event has been organised by a local group to help support the Art Fund.
