An illustrated lecture in which Dr Andrew Brown will explain why in the 21st Century botanical illustrator has not been superseded by photography and still has an important role to play in the study of plant anatomy. Dr Brown will provide an insight into the working of the Herbarium and explain how illustrations are prepared and what happens to the finished products.

This event has been organised by a local supporter help group to raise money for the Art Fund
