The Honerable

The Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn has a claim to be the oldest of the four Inns of Court (the professional associations for the barristers in England and Wales), with records dating back to 1422. We will have a guided tour, taking in the Old Hall, one of the finest medieval buildings in London, and th Great Hall. The art on display includes Hogarth's vast canvas Paul Before Felix, GF WAtts's enormous fresco Justice, A Hemicycle of Lawgivers, and a group of portraits of famous benchers of the Inn by Norman Hepple and William Dring.

This event has been organised by a local support group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
