This will be an architecture tour of one of South West France's most fascinating regions.

Flying from Bristol to Toulous (optional), we stay at the 4-star Hostellerie Saint Antonine in Albi. Accompanied throughout by an art-historian/guide, our itinerary will include: a tour of Albi with its great Cathedral and Toulouse-Lautrec museum; a day in Toulouse visiting the Basilica St Sernin and other important sites; the major art collections of the Foundation Bemberg and Musee des Augustins; a Gaillac AOC wine-tasting session at a leading Chateau; lunch at a local farmhouse; shop in the market at Villefranche-de-Rouergue; explore the medievall 'bastides' of Cordes-sur-Ciel and Najac, and visit the Musee Ingres at Montauban.

This event is organised by a local supporter group, to help raise money for the Art Fund.
