The Sermon of St John the Baptist, 1506-11, created for the Baptistry of Florence Cathedral

A private talk on the Royal Academy exhibition Bronze, which covers 4,000 years of the use of the material in art. Works on show include masterpieces from various cultures - Ancient Greek, Etruscan, Roman, medieval, Renaissance, 19th-century, modern and contemporary.

Please note, entry to the exhibition is not included with the talk; Art Fund members may book timed tickets for £10.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
