Catton Hall

| Catton Hall

Wednesday 12 September 2012 - 14:00

Catton Hall is situated near the river Trent, where it forms the boundary between Derbyshire and Staffordshire. It is a beautiful 1745 baroque Georgian mansion with nine bays, built in red brick, and contains original Chippendale style furniture and some important portraits of family members, including one by Van Dyck. We shall have a tour of the house followed by afternoon tea and the opportunity to walk in the gardens and view the family chapel.

This event has been organised by a local supporter group to help raise money for the Art Fund.
