Visit to Lords Wood

Visit | Lords Wood

Sunday 5 August 2012 - 14:30 until 16:30

Lords Wood has been the Messums' family home since 1974. Built in 1899 and set in a beautiful part of the Chilterns, it was formerly host to members of the Bloomsbury group of artists. As a family of art dealers, Lords Wood currently houses the Messum's collection of 19th and 20th century art and their exquisite gardens contain a fascinating selection of modern sculptures. The head gardener Roger will be available to answer any horticultural queries.
Please note the garden has many changes of level with stone steps.

This event has been organised by a local supporter help group to raise money for the Art Fund.
