Picasso's Women

Lecture | Princethorpe College

Tuesday 3 April 2012 - 10:00 until 13:00

Picasso loved women, but some argue he also manipulated and mistreated them.

Two wives, several mistresses and many other muses inspired the changing styles in his work and we can track Olga Koklova, Marie-Therese Walter, Dora Maar, Jaqueline Roque and others in his paintings.

This illustrated lecture by Margaret-Louise O'Keefe will look at Picasso's relationships with the significant women in his life and at their impact on his art.

Warwickshire Art Fund branch's annual meeting will precede the lecture.
