A guided tour of this recently reopened museum with the Curator of Decorative Arts, Matthew Winterbottom.

The tour will include a history of the building and a tour of the collection. The heart of the collection which was formed by Sir Thomas Holburne (1793 to 1874) and later enlarged in the twentieth century consists of over 4000 objects, books and paintings including works by Gainsborough, Stubbs and Turner, portraits by Ramsey, early Meissen Porcelain, and many more rare and fine examples of decorative art.
