Visit | Tiverton Castle

The day begins with a visit to Tiverton Castle (built in 1106, then enlarged in the 13th and 14th centuries) hosted by its owners, Angus and Alison Gordon. A light lunch and coffee will be followed by a visit to Tiverton Museum, which has various displays illustrating local history. The Civic Society will then lead a short walk that includes a talk on the history and development of the town. Tea will be served in the Castle before departure.
