Visit and Talk | Galanthus Gallery & Cafe

Meet at the Galanthus Gallery Cafe for lunch before a visit to St Clydawg Church in Clodock, where Heather Pegg will give a short talk about the church and its features. Then, a visit to Monnow Gallery which was founded in 2007 as a charity but run by Rupert Otten and Hanneke van der Werf as an art gallery and sculpture garden. Rupert will give a talk on Monnow's exhibition entitled 'The Romantic Landscape II'. Works by artists such as John Piper, Samuel Palmer, Graham Sutherland and Ralph Maynard-Smith are on view. There will also be a chance to see the converted historic barn used by an artist in residence. The day will finish with tea, coffee, and biscuits in the Gallery.
