Bronze Age Sculpture Casting Foundry

Visit | Bronze Age Sculpture Casting Foundry

29 March 2011
5 April 2011 - 16:00 until 18:00

Established in 1989, Bronze Age Foundry is now one of Britain’s leading art foundries, used by artists to cast original sculptures in bronze or aluminium. By special request, our group will be guided through the workshops to see and understand the process of origination, scaling up, mould-making, lost wax casting, patination and restoration. Circumstances permitting, there will be an opportunity to watch an exciting ‘pour’. Please note: places are limited; not recommended to those with mobility difficulties or dust allergies.
