Visit RAMM'S Ark and take a guided walk around Exeter

|

Thursday 13 January 2011 - 10:30 until 15:30

Whilst Exeter's Royal Albert Memorial Museum is closed for refurbishments, the majority of its collection is being stored at RAMM's Ark, a purpose built building on Marsh Barton Industrial Estate. Alison Hopper-Bishop, from the museum, will be giving a guided tour of the store and specialist conservators will demonstrate how the various artefacts are restored and organised. The process of moving the collection back to RAMM will also be explained. After lunch, there will be a guided walk around Exeter with a Red Coat Guide. This will include stops at Ruckers Hall (1471) and The Guildhall (1466).
