Private Visit: John Moores Exhibition at the Walker Art Gallery

First held in 1957 at the Walker Art Gallery, the John Moores Contemporary Painting Prize remains the UK's most prestigious painting prize. Held every two years, previous winners have included David Hockney and Richard Hamilton.

Always a barometer of what's happening in contemporary painting, this year's exhibition promises a variety of subjects and artistic approaches.

Director of Art Galleries, Reyahn King, provides a short introduction before the opportunity to explore this year's exhibition.

Wine and canapes will be served at the start of the evening.
