| Hartwell House

Hartwell House has Jacobean and Georgian features, and has been magnificently restored. Built in 1600, there is later work by James Gibbs among others, and the interior includes outstanding plasterwork, good panelling, paintings and statues. The landscaped parkland includes eighteenth century statues, buildings and a lake with a stone bridge. The visit includes tours of the ground floor rooms and a tour of the grounds with the head gardener, and a 3 course lunch.
