Visit: Croome Court

| Croome Court

Enjoy a visit to Croome Court on a day when the house is not open to the public. Michael Smith, the Property Manager, Jill Tovey, Croome Estate Trust Archivist, and Susan Leech, Visitor Services Assistant, will give a comprehensive tour of the house, including rooms not on public view, and talks about Croome Court and the Coventry family.

Croome Court is now the property of the Croome Heritage Trust and leased to the National Trust so that it is at last reunited with its parkland. Lancelot 'Capability' Brown's first commission was to integrate the house and garden as a harmonious whole. Later, Robert Adam worked on the interiors and nearby church. Restoration work is needed on the house, after which some of the original contents will return.
