Visit: Mervyn Peake's "Alice"

Visit the exhibition at Sheffield University Library Gallery of Mervyn Peake's Alice in Wonderland illustrations. Curator Professor Vanessa Toulmin will introduce the exhibition of 30 original drawings, purchased by the British Library with Art Fund assistance.

Mervyn Peake, perhaps best known for his Gormenghast trilogy, illustrated a number of books during his career. These Alice illustrations date from 1946.
