Visit: Bridlington and Boynton Hall

| Bridlington

In the morning take a tour of the Priory, the Bayle Museum and the Old Town of Bridlington. The tour will be led by Dr. David Neave, a noted local historian and author of the revised Pevsner for York and East Yorkshire. In the afternoon visit Boynton Hall. This is an interesting originally 16th century house with a complex building history. It was enlarged in the late 16th century, internally altered 1700-1704, with further changes in 1730 and final additions in 1765, attributed to John Carr, who also designed the nearby church.
